We purchased a breakfast nook and were not fans of the upholstery that it came with. Due to our limited size and options available for nook sets, we ultimately went with the set with hopes to change the fabric. We found a fabric that went with our new kitchen decor and took it down to Randolph upholstery with the cushions. I am writing this wonderful review on behalf of my grandmother. She had a 40 year old chair reupholstered here earlier this week. I cannot begin to explain how beautiful the chair came out. It's almost as if we went back in time to repurchase the chair from Allen's Furniture, all those years ago.

I contacted Randolph Upholstery-Interiors after searching the web. I sent information about the large, gentleman's wing chair I wanted to have reupholstered. Elaine got right back to me and worked with my ideas and gave me some good ones too. We delivered our chair to the shop and we even got to meet Randy! such nice, friendly people and so helpful! I want to tell you how beautiful our living room set looks now thanks to Randolph Upholstery.
We felt we needed a new set due to the fact that it was already twenty years old and quite faded. However, after going to a few furniture stores and looking on-line for something, we decided that our set was in good condition other than the fading. After finding Randolph Upholstery, I called them and emailed a few pictures of the couch and two chairs. Randolph gave me a quote on labor over the phone. We then went in and with their help picked out the material we liked. The entire process only took two weeks, and we have a beautiful living room set once again.

As you know, I had been searching for an upholstery shop for quite some time. And then one day, when driving out of the parking lot of my bank in Whitman Center, I spotted your shop. I'm so glad you moved closer to the center! I don't know if I ever would have found you if you had remained in your former location, but there you were, right in my own backyard!!

Updating my prior review and adding the 5th star, now that I've gotten the chair and ottoman back. Btw the job has been done for a while, timing was as promised - quick by the standard I've experienced for this sort of work.
The chair and ottoman came out beautifully! The material looks as expected, and the workmanship is excellent. Recommended and I will definitely be back.
These guys are very knowledgeable. Randy has been doing this for like 50 years, and has great ideas when he looks at your furniture. Elaine listens to what you think you might like in the way of fabric and goes right to 4 or 5 books that have pretty much exactly what you are thinking of.
In the Age of IKEA, it's really nice to know that businesses like this are still doing their thing, and doing it really well.

My association with Mr. Randy Randolph began more than 10 years ago when I had an interior design studio in Maryland. I subcontracted all my upholstery work to him and continue to do so in the course of my design work. I now am employed with one of the largest furniture showrooms in Maryland.

What a find! Beautiful selection of fabrics; amazing craftsmanship; courteous; timely; friendly; professional; very communicative. We had a mission-style sofa, loveseat and chair reupholstered and the wood reconditioned. The set looks brand new. Elaine was a joy to work with!

She's been gone for 49 years and I wanted to have it redone in her memory, but reupholstered in fabric to suit my livingroom. We took a picture with the kids sitting on it and sent it to John's godfather, who originally owned the chair. He was thrilled to see it.
Elaine was wonderful and all the help she provided picking out the materials and keeping everything on course. Randy you are a wonderful craftsman.
